Lux Maine Coon is a small, dedicated cattery raising exceptional Maine Coon kittens in Ireland and Italy. We are passionate, ethical breeders committed to giving every kitten a healthy, confident, and affectionate start to life.
Our kittens are raised as part of our family homes, surrounded by everyday interaction, thoughtful socialisation, and individual care. This helps them develop into secure, loving companions who are well prepared for life with their future families.
Our cats are part of our Ireland and Italy programme, and health remains central to our breeding programme. Every breeding cat completes an extensive, breed-appropriate DNA and health-screening panel, allowing us to plan each pairing carefully and responsibly.

Extensive DNA Screening
Every breeding cat undergoes a comprehensive panel of breed-specific DNA tests to identify and eliminate hereditary conditions before they reach the next generation.
Breed-Appropriate Health Testing
Cardiac screening (HCM), hip scoring, blood typing, and additional screening required for the Maine Coon breed standard and our own programme standards.
GCCF & TICA Registration
All our cats and litters are registered with recognised international cat fancier organisations, ensuring pedigree integrity and full traceability.
Thoughtful Pairing Decisions
Each pairing is planned based on health results, pedigree analysis, temperament, coat type, and long-term breed improvement goals.

A Thoughtful Reservation Process
Kittens normally join approved families from 13 weeks of age. International collection or transport dates may be later depending on veterinary and travel requirements.
